Your home need not be just like all the others in the neighbourhood. In fact, it’s a very good idea that it’s not. When it comes time for resale, the words you don’t want to hear are “just like….”
We believe what a purchaser’s money goes towards should not be our choice just because we can purchase massive amounts and offer the same to everyone in the neighbourhood and call it a builder’s bonus. Purchasers’ ability to design the interior is nearly limitless. If we can get it, we’ll install it. What’s most important to you? Is it flooring or countertops? Is it windows or larger rooms?
A custom home may not be affordable but with good bones and wisdom only hands on experience can provide, changes to the interior and practical modifications to floor plans can truly make your home your own.

Something called the world wide web was just invented, a cell phone was no more than a phone and Dr. Roberta Bondar was first Canadian Women in space. Mattino owners had built their own homes and then another and another. They were getting very dirty and learning the ins and outs of every trade.
Over the more than three decades that followed, Mattino built a few hundred homes in all styles throughout the Ottawa, Ontario region, and in Gatineau, Quebec. With every home built – with every relationship entered – there has been a honing of skills and continuous learning to keep up with trends and regulations.
Mattino is small, hands-on, not about marketing nor promotion. Just simply hard working.
